Fender Strat – Dweezil Zappa’s Eric Johnson Strat

Description

Dweezil Zappa purged some gear for a charity thing and this Eric Johnson strat was too good to pass up. Of course, I modified it. It was essentially an EJ strat with a Fishman Power Bridge added. Now it’s that but with some visual changes to look more like Nile Rodgers’ “Hitmaker” strat. No permanent modifications.

    • Lollar specials. Wired with a blend knob in the 2nd tone spot (on bridge it can blend in the neck and vice-versa).
  • Other
    • Pickguard is a Fender brass pickguard with chrome coating
