I wanted a shoreline gold guitar. I kinda always loved Nile Rogers’ “Hitmaker” strat. I kinda combined both desires into one. I call it “shitmaker” because I’m not writing any great songs anytime soon.
Body – Fender American (Standard?) strat body in Shoreline Gold. Unlike the Hitmaker, this body is not lightweight.
Neck – Warmoth. Strat headstock, SRV profile, 1.6875″ nut, 6150 frets, 10-16″ compound radius, quartersawn maple, finished with gunstock oil.
Electronics – Lollar specials. Wired with a blend knob in the 2nd tone spot (on bridge it can blend in the neck and vice-versa).
Rest – Pickguard is a Fender brass pickguard with chrome coating
